History about the Natives of Anahuac.
Don Fernando de Alva Ixtlilxochitl was a chronicler of the history of pre-conquest and conquest-era Mexico, who was of both Spanish and Nahua descent. His magnum opus, the History of the Chichimeca Nation, is a gripping tale based on native accounts but written in the medieval chronicle style. The manuscript of the History was rediscovered in the 1980s and this volume is the first-ever English translation derived entirely from the original manuscript.
Poems made by the people of Anahuac.
"Poesía Prehispánica: Flor Y Canto" is a Spanish language book that compiles pre-Hispanic poetry from Mexico and Central America. The book includes poems from various indigenous cultures, such as the Aztecs, Mayans, and Nahuas, among others. It provides insight into the cultural and artistic expressions of these societies before the arrival of the Spanish colonizers.
